The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Tax Assessor Leroy Ware presented the 2017 property tax rolls. The Board voted to go forward with a $5 million bond issue. The Board voted to approve the hiring of a company to perform elevator maintenance.
