The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard objections to the tax rolls. The $5 million bond issue was approved. A discussion of the possible rate increase for the county employee insurance was had. An amendment to the contract between the county and the federal government for use of the incubator was adopted.
