The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard from Triangle Chemical Company about a real estate matter. Fred Randle requested the Board obtain a rescue boat for the Emergency Management department. The end-of-year budget amendments and the final 2016-2017 budget were approved.
