The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted agriculture lease bids. Dorothy Connell requested a zoning variance. Victor Stokes presented a discussion of a building violation. A contract regarding storage and transportation of the voting machines was approved. The Board accepted the resignation of Debra Hibbler from the Election Commission. Several board appointments were approved. The Board discussed the problems at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital and decided to set up a joint meeting with the city council and with the Hospital Board to find out what is the Hospital's plan for recovery of its failing financial condition.
