The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved several hirings for the Juvenile Detention Center. Some agreements were approved relating to the Home Grant. Two closed sessions were held, one on industrial development, another on a personnel matter. No action was taken.
