The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a discussion with Delta Health Alliance regarding potential grants available to Leflore County. The pastor of Turner Chapel AME requested a tax exemption. A concerned citizen Marilyn Sims appeared before the Board. A request was made to use Florewood Park. A long discussion took place with a representative of Pafford Ambulance about the contract that rival MedStat has with the Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
