The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation requesting funds for a First Lady Luncheon at MVSU. A resolution to apply for a Recreation Trail Grant was approved. Diane Hargrove requested to continue to use the Greenwood food center building. A facility service provider agreement was taken up. A discussion regarding restoration of Sunflower Park in Itta Bena took place. Ed Hargett brought up the CMS annual contract renewal. Payroll checks were discussed.
