The council held its monthly hearing on dilapidated properties. The council heard an update on economic development in the region. Earnestine Washington came to discuss damage to a car on Garrard Avenue due to a pothole. The purchase of a pumper vehicle for the fire department was approved. A survey of the Gritney neighborhood and seeking a grant to fund it was discussed.
