The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard an update on county resources. Angela Curry brought forward a proposal to sell industrial park land to a new transportation business owner. Dr. Jerryl Briggs sent a letter requesting county support for the upcoming MVSU Foundation Gala. The ordinance officer held a show cause hearing. A problem with people living on the levee next to Viking Road was discussed. The contract with Pafford Ambulance Service was renewed. A trail marker for Dr. Lusia Harris was proposed. The new General Obligation Bond issue was discussed. An agreement to provide medical services to the county jail was approved. The road manager brought up a discussion of drainage problems in Rising Sun. The Board went into executive session to discuss, among other things, the county administrator and the controller positions.
