The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its first meeting of the month. A discussion of ARPA fund spending took place. Several departments were approved to hire new employees. Circuit Clerk Elmus Stockstill brought forward the purchase of new voting equipment. The hospital board was discussed, with some of the supervisors criticizing the hospital board's refusal to meet with the supervisors at this time. The board went into executive session twice, one time to discuss an economic development prospect.
