The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board once again took up the matter of approving the April 2022 minutes. A discussion of internet use tax took place. Tax Assessor Leroy Ware presented the real and personal property tax rolls for Board equalization and ultimate approval. The Board discussed hiring a firm to administer and consult relating to the ARPA funds at its disposal. The Board discussed Senate Bill 2719, which authorizes salary increases for supervisors. The Board discussed preliminary plans to redistrict the supervisor and justice court districts based upon the new 2020 census figures. Undersheriff Ken Spencer discussed with the Board in executive session an agreement to allow unnamed sheriff's personnel to work with the MS Bureau of Narcotics undercover.
