The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board discussed the upcoming budget. New tax exemptions for Viking Range and Milwaukee Tools were brought before the board by Tax Assessor Leroy Ware. Judge Kevin Adams presented a problem with continued payments for a former prosecutor which somehow had not been dropped from the county payroll. The use of ARPA funds in District 1 was discussed. The county Ordinance Officer brought forward a matter in Rising Sun.
