Ashley Farmer spoke to the council, thanking it for support of the Humane Society animal shelter. The regular monthly hearing on dilapidated properties was held. The council approved applying for a Solid Waste Assistance Grant. A 2023 automatic side loader lease-purchase was approved. The council awarded Timbo Construction a contract to build a city parking lot on the former site of Perry's Pawn Shop on Carrollton Avenue. The council went into executive session to discuss personnel matters pertaining the the council clerk.
