Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board held a meeting with the department heads regarding overspending of the budget.

Minutes from November and December meetings were presented for approval.

Chancery Clerk Johnny Gary requested various transfers of debits and credits in the county expenditures.

Ed Hargett presented the quarterly jail report and his annual renewal contract.

Various individuals came before the board to ask for sponsorships and project approvals.

The surveillance camera system was discussed.

The county engineer brought forward a resolution to approve the speed limit on the Viking Range Access Road project.
