The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board approved an additional $1.25 million payment to the Greenwood Leflore Hospital from ARPA funds. The board went into executive session to discuss possible litigation involving the sheriff department. The board went into executive session again to discuss hospital financial issues and a contract.
