The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board considered a request for ad valorem tax exemption for Milwaukee Tools. Floyd Melton III presented an application for tax exemption for Oxbow Crush. The quarterly jail report was received. The board voted to put Margie Pulley on the Hospital Board to replace outgoing member Marcus Banks. The board went into executive session to hear a personnel matter.
