The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board went into executive session to consider pending litigation. Afterward, the board voted to continue the personnel hearing until next Monday at 10 am. Board attorney Betty Sanders announced that she has a conflict, and the board voted to appoint Kelvin Pulley to handle the case.
