Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Chancery Clerk Johnny Gary asked for an amendment of the budget.

The board acted on an order by Circuit Court Judge Margaret Carey-Mccray appointing a part-time student research assistant.

County Court Judge James Littleton asked the board to reimburse him for the cost of a $1200 massaging office chair.

Interim County Administrator Leroy Ware presented the inventory for the Sheriff Department.

Jean Cadney presented a request from MVSU.

Morgan City Outreach requested the board buy a sponsorship for the annual Morgan City Day, which takes place on June 16.

The board considered appointing Michael Bland as the hearing officer for Solid Waste.

The board took up an interlocal agreement with MVSU.

The county engineer presented an engineering agreement for a CDBG grant for the repair of the elevators in the courthouse.
