The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The county engineer oversaw the opening of bids for two projects.
The Boys and Girls Club requested its annual $10,000 donation from the county.
The board went into executive session. When it came out, the board voted to hire Leroy Ware, tax accessor and interim county administrator, as permanent county administrator. The salary is set at $150,000, but Mr. Ware is retired, and will only receive $75,000 per year.
