The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board made a presentation to two retiring county employees. Bill Clay came before the Board to request that a piece of county property be converted into a soccer field near the Boys Club. A discussion was held regarding the design and construction of the Justice Center. The Board went into executive session to discuss the airport litigation. After coming out of executive session, the Board voted to instruct its attorney to accept a settlement of the case. The terms of the settlement was not publicly disclosed.
