The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids on the Viking Range Access Road Improvement CDBG project. A public hearing on rezoning property of Lee J. Johnson was held. Ricky Mooneyham (CableSouth Media II, LLC) and others came to discuss the use of county right-of-ways to bury fiber optic cables. Josh Brown presented various issues relating to the Home Project. Various bills were paid on the Justice Center. Salary adjustments and hiring approvals were made. The county budget for the upcoming fiscal year was discussed.
