The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved a payment for the Viking Dishwasher project. An application to the state for a Home Grant was discussed. A detailed discussion took place about the generator required for the new Justice Center. The Board voted to release to the public the receipt records of the Civic Center subject to the Attorney General's opinion that they are public records. The 4 year road plan was updated.
