The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held several public hearings on dilapidated properties. The Board approved the 2008 property tax roll. The Board approved several tax exemptions for Viking. Robin Person appeared with the Cottonlandia board to discuss next year's budget allocation. Bardin Redditt appeared on behalf of the Airport Board. The County Engineer brought forward the Bridge Inspection program for FY-2008.
