The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened leases for various parcels of county-owned farm land. An overpayment made by the Home Program which must be paid back was discussed. The Board took up two items related to the Corn processing terminal project. A resolution commending the Travelers Rest MB Church was adopted.
