The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed a bond issue for road repair and equipment purchases. NCPDD's Steve Russell presented several items relating to the Express Grain Terminal Project. The Board voted to renew several leases for county parks. A discussion took place regarding the proposed regional rail authority. A tax sale was voided.
