The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from County Court Judge Kevin Adams regarding a grant application for the Juvenile Detention Facility. Attorney Sam Keys addressed the Board regarding the proposed bond issue to finance road repair and equipment purchases. The Board voted to go ahead with the bond issue. A long presentation by Mallory Health Clinic personnel was received regarding a Federally-funded health clinic for the county.
