The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to rescind the resolution requiring the selection of Board officers on an annual basis. Mr. Self and Mr. Wolfe remained as President and Vice-President of the Board. The Board hired Joyce Chiles' firm as Board Attorney, and reappointed all other county officers as well. The Board heard a presentation from the Harvard project to revitalize the Baptist Town neighborhood. The Board heard a request from Edna Brown to reopen an old county road. The Board heard an extended presentation from Robert Willis and other persons employed by the County Engineer.
