The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids on the Home Project grant. It discussed the GIS and Deed Imaging proposals it had received. A Family Master was appointed for the Chancery Court. Several grants were accepted or executed by the Board. Farm leases for county property were approved. The Board voted to cancel Confederate Memorial Day as a legal holiday and substitute Good Friday, with Mr. Wolfe voting against the proposal.
