The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids on a rescue boat. The Board approved a park lease agreement. A consultant to research a grant for a generator for the court house was selected. The Board tabled the motion to authorize the Airport Board to proceed to move Mr. Vernon Ricks' hanger. An amended loan agreement was adopted between ECD and Leflore County regarding the MDCIIC. Mr. Ratliff and Mr. Wolfe voted against the amendment. The Board adopted a resolution in support of the car tag credit.
