The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board tabled a discussion on closing Road 90. Tax Assessor Leroy Ware came before the Board to discuss delinquent taxes on the GECAS aircraft parts inventory. T. W. Cooper presented an emergency management Homeland Security grant for approval. The Hospital budget was taken up again. The final amended county budget for the previous fiscal year was approved. A discussion was held regarding the purchase of some park land in Sidon.
