The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing regarding the Samuel Chapel MB Church Cemetery. Floyd Melton Jr. addressed the Board requesting support for the C&G Railroad revitalization project. The Narcotics Task Force brought several items for action. James Belk presented a contract for the Airport Board regarding construction of the new tower. Several road and bridge projects were approved. Playground equipment for the Schlater park was again discussed.
