The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board authorized Judge Kevin Adams to provide funds to assist the Greenwood Mentoring Group from his own court budget. Applications for the 2010 Home Grant program were approved. NCNTF received a $500,000 grant to fight Methamphetamines. Delta Oil Mill was given its tax exemption. The Board discussed the burial of Mr. Sam Shelby Wood Jr.
