The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed various budget presentations from Cottonlandia, MVSU, and other applicants. Hart Henson offered a recycling update. Several civic organizations requested donations from the county. Fire protection contracts were executed with the rural volunteer fire associations.
