The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Angela Curry and Bill Crump from the Industrial Board and Foundation came to present proposals of land purchase and applications for loans and grants to be administered by the county in favor of the Clint Williams Project, a peanut receiving facility to be located in the industrial park. A discussion of the redistricting plan took place. The Board voted to authorize the obtaining of a valuation of the Greenwood-Leflore Hospital for possible sale.
