The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Bids were opened for construction of the Peanut Warehouse Facility. Several other grants were approved and/or executed. Mike Sturdivant was appointed to the Airport Board. The Board rejected a request that the county assume responsibility for the maintenance of roads in the old Malouf Trailer Park.
