The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

A resolution commending the Greenwood Delta Strikers soccer champions was approved. The Board went into executive session to discusss litigation. Clint Williams Peanut Company appeared to get approval to purchase more land in the industrial park. The expenses for running the county jail were discussed with Ed Hargett.
