The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved a resolution regarding water management under local control. T. W. Cooper provided updates regarding Emergency Management issues. Alex Malouf's resignation from the Hospital Board was accepted. Payment of $5000 to the Chamber of Commerce for the Band Festival was approved. The Circuit Court District employees appointments and salaries were approved.
