The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved going forward with the Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Plan. Dr. Tracy Mims from MVSU requested a sponsorship for a Study Abroad Africa project. NCNTF presented some requests relating to drug enforcement. T W Cooper brought some Emergency Management matters before the Board. The new gun law was discussed. Several lease agreements for public parks were approved.
