The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to equalize the tax rolls and open them for public inspection. Itta Bena Mayor Thelma Collins requested assistance with some park related matters. An Executive Session took place in which the Board voted to go forward with incentives for an industrial prospect. The Board approved purchase of property for the proposed Viking Connector Road project. The Board approved an AT&T request to put a fiber cable along and crossing Kay Lane.
