The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing on the Tax Increment Financing plan, but nobody appeared to speak for or against the measure. The Board approved it 3-0, with Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Moore being absent. The Board heard from Richard Beattie about the need for deputies to patrol for traffic during an upcoming bike event. The Board agreed to continue the county employees' medical coverage with Blue Cross.
