The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Cheryl Taylor about the MS Museum of the Delta. Several matters relating to the Home Grant were presented by NCPDD officials. Jean Cadney presented requests for financial support of MVSU by the county. The Board voted to provide sponsorships at taxpayer cost to MVSU. Leroy Ware presented a request for support for the Leflore County Football Association.
