The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board adopted a resolution seeking assistance in locating a regional jail at the former Delta Correctional Facility. The Board accepted bids for three new garbage trucks totaling around $400,000. The Board authorized the purchase of two new fire trucks for the volunteer fire department.
