The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved Hospital CEO Jim Jackson's request to buy adjacent properties on Strong Avenue for future expansion and clinic construction. A property tax exemption for the Baptist Town Community Center was requested. Brantley Snipes brought forward a request for Main Street to lease the old Bank of Commerce drive through building on Church Street. A settlement with the CN Railroad company for the derailment and damage to the county roads was approved.
