The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved a transfer of ownership for property relating to Triangle Chemical Company. A report from the museum was received. Several matter relating to the Home Grant were approved. A grant of $3000 was given to the Schlater Day Committee for their celebration. The Engineer brought forward matters relating to a right of way and the Itta Bena Pumping Station project.
