The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for road construction projects. Buddy White presented various insurance proposals for renewal. Sheriff Ricky Banks brought forward a request to purchase some new vehicles for his department. Next year's budget was discussed. Amendments to recreational leases were approved.
