The Council held its regular hearing on dilapidated properties. Brantley Snipes of Main Street presented their recent activities. The Council voted to grant Main Street $16,000. The Council also granted the Healthy Food Project $3125. The Council received a draft ordinance for its future consideration outlawing some discrimination in housing, services, and employment based on sexual orientation or gender identity. No action was taken.
