The Greenwood-Leflore Hospital is a 208 bed facility that serves a large portion of the central Mississippi Delta. It is jointly owned by the City of Greenwood and Leflore County.

The Hospital Board of Commissioners conducted the entire meeting in secret session. The press and the public were excluded. Supposedly, the Board was interviewing or considering candidates for the position of CEO of the hospital.
