The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board went into Executive Session twice at the beginning of the meeting, the second time to receive an economic development update on "Project Bright" from Angela Curry. A resolution honoring Robert Moore, District 2 Supervisor who passed away, was adopted.
