Greenwood City Council

The Greenwood City Council is the legislative body that governs the city of Greenwood. The executive power is held by a Mayor who is elected by the people every four years, along with the seven council members. The City Council generally meets twice each month at the City Hall.

The Council held its regular monthly hearing on dilapidated properties. A contract with W. Criss Lott was approved. A resolution to give $3,200 to Main Street was approved. A resolution recommending the hiring of a structural engineer to assess the Cowan Music Building was adopted.
