The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard from Debra Adams about plans to open a Greenwood Community Center. Citizens from Rising Sun appeared before the Board. Dr. Tamala Boyd Shaw of the Leflore Legacy Academy made a presentation. Tax exemptions for Milwaukee Tools and Viking Range were approved. End of year budget adjustments were approved by the Board.
